Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana Pattern of Assistance
- 40% of the fixed capital investment goes to general entrepreneurs (maximum limit 50 lakh excluding the cost of land)
- 50% of the fixed capital investment shall be allocated to SC/ST/Women/Persons with Disabilities/Graduates of Agriculture and Related Disciplines (maximum limit 50 lakh excluding the cost of land)
- Groups of people like registered Farmers, PAC, FPO, FPG, FPC, NGO, SHG, LAMPCS, apex federations, cooperative societies, and firms registered under the Companies Act 2013 can access CIS to the tune of 40%, limited to 50 lakh. CIS will only be 50% funded if all members are women, with a limitation of 50 lakh.
- The maximum allowed under this plan is for a single business owner or family.
- The cost of the project won’t include the cost of infrastructure.
- According to the Odisha Public Distribution system order of 2016, a family is a unit made up of a person, his or her spouse, their unmarried boys, daughters, married sons, and dependant parents.
- An entrepreneur must self-declare on a list of all of his or her family members, stating that none of them have received a subsidy under this program.
- The business owner must enter into a legally binding contract to rent the space for at least five years.
- The rental space can also be used for business purposes.
- Projects that are developed without DLC’s prior consent will not be taken into consideration.
Project Financing and Timeline for Completion
Up to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh, agriculture-based businesses may self-finance.
- Financial support is modest for initiatives costing more than Rs. 10 lakh, starting at 10% value.
- The Bank will keep track of when subsidies are released.
- The issues must be resolved within two years of the date the subsidy was issued, and if the monetary establishment is delayed, the period will be extended by an additional 12 months.
- 20% of the subsidy money will be withheld for each additional six months that the completion is delayed past the two-year mark.
- The subsidy will be stopped permanently after a delay of 12 months from the initial two-year period.
Implementation of Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana
- Under the Agriculture Ministry’s rules, the state committee will revise the plan.
- The nodal coordinator for the program is the Agricultural Promotion and Investment Company of Odisha.
- Implementation of the plan will fall within the purview of district-level officials such as the Chief District Agriculture Officer, Deputy Director of the Horticulture Department, Executive Engineer, Chief District Veterinary Officer, and District Fisheries Officer.
- At the block level, the block line division is in charge of looking over the DPR, or Detailed Project Report, and determining the level of complexity of the challenge that the applicant has suggested.
- To complete the built-in farming challenge, the involved BLO will travel to the site with BVO or AVAS serving as the coordinator. They will submit the feasibility report to the CDAO, monitor the execution process, and update the portal as necessary.
- The district stage officer of the agricultural and allied division would serve as the district nodal officer by default. For agro-service centers, the district nodal officer will be the executive engineer.

- The citizen must be a compulsory resident of Orissa, but not necessarily a compulsory permanent resident.

- Individuals or bodies of individuals
- State Apex Federations
- LAMPCS, FPO, PAC, NGO, FPC, FPG, and SHG registered by the government

Thus, the Mukhyamantri Krishi Udyog Yojana prohibits the establishment of the following industries:
- Rice mills
- Energy plants using biogas methodology
- Field crops that thrive under typical conditions for less than a year
- Factories with the goal of producing gutka, tobacco, or other seasonings for chewing
