AP Free Laptop Scheme 2024
The government of Andhra Pradesh has stated that it will provide students with free computers to encourage them to pursue further education. To address this, a project called AP Free Laptop Scheme has been launched under which computers will be given away for free to students who choose to enroll in online courses during the academic changeover. All students must have a laptop or mobile phone to take online classes when schools and universities are closed due to the Corona changeover. This program is mostly for visually challenged students whose families cannot afford to buy laptops for their kids. The Department of Welfare of Differently Abled & Senior Citizens is running this program.

AP Free Laptop Scheme Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a state of Andhra Pradesh permanent resident to be considered.
- Under this program, students whose families make less than Rs 15000 per month would receive free laptops.
- Students who qualify for the free laptop program must pay half the cost if their family’s monthly income is between 15,000 and 20,000 rupees.
- The free laptop offered by this program will have to be paid in full by the parents of the children whose monthly income is determined to be higher than Rs 20000.
