Furthermore, the revenue earned is most likely insufficient to meet their needs and ambitions, as well as their children’s education. As a result, the Kalia Yojana will assist all farmers in meeting their needs and desires, as well as assisting them in obtaining loans for their children’s education or other objectives.

Comprehensive Livelihood Assistance
Financial aid of Rs.12500/- per household would be provided to landless farming households. This aid will be provided for agriculturally related activities such as small goat rearing units, mini-layer units, duckery units, fisheries kits for fishermen, mushroom cultivation, and other agriculturally related activities. This KALIA Yojana benefit is specifically for the state’s SC/ ST population.
Vulnerable Agricultural Household Assistance
Vulnerable cultivators/landless agricultural laborers who are unable to take up agriculture due to old age, disability, disease, or other reasons will also receive financial assistance under the KALIA Yojana. Every year, Rs.10000 would be paid to each vulnerable cultivator/landless agricultural laborer to help them survive.
Life Insurance for Cultivators & Landless Agricultural Laborers
Farmers would receive a life insurance policy of Rs. 2.00 lakh for a yearly premium of Rs. 330. All savings bank account holders between the ages of 18 and 50 will be covered by insurance. The government of Odisha would pay Rs.165/- every year for this premium. Farmers will receive Rs. 2 lakhs in personal accident insurance in addition to their life insurance. Accident protection premiums are Rs. 12/- for all savings bank account holders between the ages of 18 and 50. The government will pay the remaining Rs. 6/-.
