The government intends to allocate between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 3 lakh for each borewell project.

The state government has allotted funds for the drilling of borewells, the purchase of pump sets, and an electrification deposit of Rs. 50,000. In addition, the districts of Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Tumkur covered by this scheme will receive a subsidy of Rs 3.5 lakh in addition to other districts receiving a subsidy of Rs 2 lakh. By drawing pipes from water sources, installing pump motors, and other equipment, the Karnataka State Government would supply all these amenities to land owned by farmers near rivers.
