About Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme
The government of West Bengal has started Lakshmi Bhandarscheme to provide an assured income to the women of West Bengal. Through this came the government is going to provide a monthly income to the women in all urban and rural areas of the state. To get the benefits of the skin the applicant should be a permanent resident of West Bengal whose age is between 25 to 60 years and not a government employee. All interested eligible applicant skin submit their application for the scheme by visiting the Duare Sarkar camps. Candidates need not submit any amount to apply for the scheme.
Beneficiaries will get rupees 1000 per month directly in their bank account who belongs to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category. Beneficiaries other than the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category will get a number of rupees 500 per month. The government is going to transfer the financial assistance through DBT transfer to an Aadhar link bank account held solely by the applicant.
