Objective of Scheme
When the chief secretary gave fresh updates on the regularisation charges, he also stated that the change was made in consideration of the number of requests that they were receiving day by day from worried residents of the state. Because the regularisation fees were so costly, all of the state’s people were disappointed. In comparison to the subsequent alterations made a few years later, the LRS plan, which was implemented in 2015, had a very modest regularisation charge amount.
On Wednesday, a number of MLAs in the Assembly raised the same concerns. Minister K.T. Rama Rao addressed the topic in the assembly, saying that the regularisation charges will be similar to those in the 2015 scheme.
