RTE Gujarat Admission 2024-25
RTE Gujarat Admission 2024-25 has been started to provide important education facilities to all the poor children in the state of Gujarat. Gujarat Education Department has reserved 43,896 seats in private schools for admission to Class 1 under the Right to Education Act 2009 for the academic year 2024-25. For which the age of the students is required to be 6 years instead of 5. Scrutiny of applications will begin from March 28, with the correction window from April 1 to April 3. The first round of admission will start from April 6. Parents have to choose a school within a radius of 6 km, the department will provide a Google map of eligible private schools. Private primary schools will have to allocate 25% of their seats to economically disadvantaged students.
The annual family income of students should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh in urban areas and Rs 1.25 lakh in rural areas. The RTE admission process took place for 82,853 seats in 9,873 schools in the state, resulting in the allotment of admission to 52,365 students.

Objective of RTE Gujarat Admission
The main objective of RTE Gujarat Admission is to provide education under the Right to Education Act to every child of the state. Under this scheme, every private school will have to keep a separate quota for students from economically weaker sections so that every child can get an education irrespective of their financial status.
