Jagananna Smart Town Scheme Official Website Launched
Citizens of Andhra Pradesh can apply through the official website, which the Chief Minister opened on January 11, 2022, from the camp office in Tadepalli. This website will accept layout applications for Anantapur’s dharmavaram, Guntur’s mangalagiri, Kadapa’s rayachoti, Prakasam’s kandukur, Nellore’s Kavali, and West Godavari’s Eluru. The first phase of this program has already commenced with the construction of 15.6 lakh houses. Citizens with an annual income of less than Rs 18 lakh are eligible to participate in this initiative.
There will be three different types of plots available under this scheme: 150 square yards, 200 square yards, and 240 square yards. The government plans to roll out this program over the entire state soon. Plots will be distributed in a transparent manner using a computerized lottery, irrespective of caste, religion, location, or political affiliation.
