KALIA Scholarship Implementation
- Odisha’s government has developed a statewide scholarship webpage. Students can apply for scholarships online using this platform.
- The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment will be in charge of implementing the KALIA Scholarship.

- Tuition fees, annual fees, one-time fees, hostel charges, and any other money placed by the student in the college, university, or institution will be refunded to the student’s bank account via the direct benefit transfer method under this scheme. Only the caution money will be excluded from this plan.
- The recipients would be given mess or hostel rates of Rs 1200 per month and Rs 1000 per month for a period of ten months.
Disbursement Of KALIA Scholarship
- The department will place advertisements in local newspapers and on the department’s website to invite applicants.
- There will be no physical applications accepted.
- Students must submit their applications using an online portal.
- Students must retain a copy of their application for future reference.

- Parents who are beneficiaries of the KALIA Yojana.

Head of the Institution’s Responsibilities

- The status of a student as a day scholar or a hosteller must also be validated by the institution’s head.

- Only one record will be authenticated in the case of a double application.

Chief District Agricultural Officer’s Responsibilities
- The department will issue the chief district agriculture officer with a user id and password for the scholarship portal.
