Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, stated in a press conference on May 25, 2020 that the government’s welfare schemes have benefited over 3.5 crore people in the state. He further mentioned that the government had distributed Rs. 40139 crores to beneficiaries under welfare initiatives through May 2020.
Backward Classes (BC) beneficiaries received Rs. 19,298 crores, Scheduled Castes (SC) beneficiaries received Rs. 6,332 crores, Scheduled Tribes (ST) beneficiaries received Rs. 2,108 crore, and other categories received Rs. 10,472 crores. Not only that, but he also stated that our government created four lakh job possibilities in village and ward secretariats within four months of taking office, with SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities securing over 82 percent of the jobs.

YSR Amma Vodi
This is a flagship program announced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister as part of the Navaratnalu initiative. Financial aid will be provided to mothers/recognized guardians who are poor, regardless of caste, creed, religion, or area, under the Amma Vodi Scheme. The goal of this program is to help mothers educate their children from kindergarten through grade twelve.
YSR Rice Card
The government has decided to provide the beneficiaries with fresh rice cards. Families eligible for benefits under this scheme have a monthly income of less than Rs. 10,000 in rural areas and Rs. 12,000 in urban areas, a total landholding of fewer than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land or 10 acres of both wet and dry land combined, the monthly electricity consumption of fewer than 300 units, no one in the family is a government employee or pensioner (all sanitary workers are exempted.), and do not own a four-wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted)No one pays income tax in urban areas if they own no property or have less than 750 square feet of built-up area.
Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Card & Jagananna Vidya Deevena Card
Students pursuing Polytechnic, ITI, Degree and above level courses in Government, Aided, Private Colleges would receive a Vidya Deevena Card for 100% fee reimbursement and a Vasathi Deevena Card for food and hostel expenses of Rs. 20,000/- each year under this scheme.
YSR Arogyasri Card–navasakam.ap.gov.in
The YSR Aarogyasri Card will assist all those whose annual income is less than or equal to 5 lakh, who own less than 12 acres of wetland or 35 acres of dryland or a total of 35 acres of both, who do not own more than one personal car, who owns no property or have less than 3000 square feet of built-up area in an urban area, and who are not government employees under the YSR Arogyasari Scheme.
AP YSR Kapu Nestam
This programme aims to financially empower Kapu women over the age of 45. By improving their livelihood options and living standards, financial support of Rs.75,000/- will be provided at a rate of Rs.15,000/- each year.
YSR Netanna Nestham
The government would supply a weaver family with a handloom with financial help of Rs. 24000 per year under this scheme. The government’s goal is to modernise its equipment and compete with the power loom industry.
YSR Pension Kanuka Card
The government will issue kanuka pension cards to people over 60 years old whose family income is less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000 per month in urban areas, total land holding is less than 3 acres of wet land, 10 acres of dry land, or 10 acres of both wet and dry land combined, monthly electricity consumption is less than 300 units, and total land holding is less than 3 acres of wet and dry land.
No one in the family is a government employee or retiree (all sanitary workers are exempted.), no one owns a four-wheeler (Taxi, Auto, and Tractors are exempted.), no one pays income tax, and no one owns a home with less than 750 square feet of built-up space in urban areas.
YSR Cheyutha Scheme
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has started YSR Cheyutha Scheme. Women from SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities would receive financial support of Rs 75000 (Rs 18750 each year) under this scheme for a period of four years. Women between the ages of 45 and 65 will be eligible for this financial help.
The government will boost female entrepreneurship through the execution of this scheme. The beneficiary of this arrangement would be able to spend the money as they wanted. For the implementation of this scheme, the government has set aside Rs 17000 crore in its budget.
AP YSR Sunna Vaddi
The government would reimburse the interest portion of the SHG bank loan amount outstanding as at 11/04/2019 under this scheme for FY 2019-20.
Imams, Muazams, and Pastors will get honoraria, while Archakas’ salary will be increased
The government has agreed to pay Honoraria to Pastors, Imams, and Muazzins, as well as raise Archakas’ incomes, under this scheme.
Financial Help to Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas and Tailors
The government would provide financial aid of Rs. 10,000/- per annum to the BC community’s Nayee Brahmins, Rajakas, and Tailors under this scheme.

Scheme ID Cards
YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy, the 2020 chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has asked staff to issue ID cards for various social initiatives within the time frameset. If the cards are not delivered to the beneficiaries within the specified time frame, strict action will be taken. The list of recipients should also be shown at the village or ward secretariats, according to the CM. Pension, rice, and Arogyashri cards should be given to the beneficiary’s doorstep.

Other Points to Remember
- By the 12th of June 2020, a list of people who failed to apply for home site pattas should be publicised, all formalities should be completed by the 15th of June 2020, and house site pattas should be delivered on July 8th.
- A cooperative collector will reconstruct 31000 Anganwadis buildings.
- The joint collector will train anganwadis workers at the village or ward secretariats.
- MGNREGA created work possibilities for 54.5 lakh persons through the rural employment guarantee initiative.
- By June 10, the mapping for the YSR Clinic will be done.
