Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence 2024
The Department of College Education of the Government of Rajasthan established the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Under this program, financial aid will be provided to all state students who want to complete their higher education at a foreign university. All students who intend to enroll in undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, or post-doctoral research programs at an international university are eligible for this program.
Additional Budget Approved for the Scheme
Every year, The Government of Rajasthan provides finance to 200 students of the state to pursue their academics from 150 top universities across the globe under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Out of the seats available, 30% of seats are reserved for women candidates. For the year 2022-23, the Government of Rajasthan has approved an additional budget of rupees 65 crores for this scheme. The scheme is going to help the youth who want to pursue higher education from abroad.

- As of the date of application, applicants must hold a Ph.D. or a degree equivalent from an approved university or board in the subject area.
