TN RTE Admission:- The concerned authorities for the RTE Tamilnadu Admission have released the official notification for the academic year 2024. Interested applicants can apply for the TN RTE Admission 2024 from 20th April 2024 and the last date to apply is 18th May 2024. TN RTE Admission 2024-25

The RTE Act was enacted by the Indian government to provide free and compulsory education in all states. Through the Right to Education Act, all children from economically disadvantaged families and communities will be admitted to the school. Students aged 6 to 14 will receive free education under the Right to Education Act. Every private school is required by RTE to reserve 25% of entry-level seats.

There are approximately 1 lakh seats available in approximately 9000 schools across the state. RTE Application Form 2024 is available for all inhabitants of Tamil Nadu who wish to apply under this system. This system will be implemented by the TN School Education Department. All Tamil Nadu schools are required to update the number of seats available in their classrooms on the official website. Soon, interested individuals can fill out an application form on the official website.

TN RTE Admission Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a Tamil Nadu permanent resident.
  • This scheme is open to all children of parents who fall into the economically disadvantaged sector, disadvantaged group, or disadvantaged group special category.
  • Disabled children, wards of scavengers, and HIV-positive people will be given priority.
  • The family’s annual income cannot exceed Rs 2 lakh.
  • For admittance to LKG, the child’s birthday must fall between July 31, 2017, and July 31, 2018.
  • The child’s date of birth must be between July 31, 2015, and July 31, 2016, to be admitted to first grade.
  • Applicants from BC-others, MBC, ST, SC-others, SC-arunthathiyar, OC, DNC (Denotified communities), and an unspecified socioeconomic group are allowed to apply.
