“In the last nearly five years, the government distributed Rs 3,262 crore under input subsidy to 34.41 lakh farmers who lost their crops due to natural disasters. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday released Rs 1,294.58 crore as input subsidy to 11,61,000 farmers who suffered crop losses due to drought and cyclone Michong in 2023. Releasing the amount virtually into the bank accounts of beneficiary farmers with the click of a button from his camp office at Tadepalli, he said Andhra Pradesh is the only state in the country that is paying input subsidy to farmers facing crop losses. Of the total Rs 1,294.58 crore, Rs 847 crore is paid as input subsidy to 6,96,000 farmers affected by drought in 103 mandals of seven districts, while the remaining 4,61,000 is provided to ryots who were affected by the Michong cyclone. The reason was crop loss.

Steps to Apply for YSR Farmer Input Subsidy 2024
- First of all, go to the official website of Navasakam Beneficiary Management Portal.
- The website homepage will open on the screen.
- You have to click on the Login button on the home page.
- The login page will open on the screen.
- Enter your Aadhar Number and click on the send OTP button.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the received OTP for verification
- A new page will open with the services list
- Now, choose the YSR Input Subsidy Scheme from the given list
- Then, the application form will open on the screen.
- All the necessary information asked in the form has to be entered carefully.
- Upload necessary documents.
- Finally, click on the submit button.
- Submitted Application will be forwarded to the Welfare and Education Assistant or Ward Welfare Secretary.
- After completing the field verification, the officers will report their findings to the Mandal Parishad Development Officer.
- After confirming the application, the Mandal Parishad Development Officer will forward it to the Project Director of the District Rural Development Agency.
- After that, the final list of eligible and ineligible applicant will be published in all secretariat.
