Assam Khel Maharan 2023
In Assam the department of Sports and Youth Affairs will organize a Khel Maharan event 2023 in the state, the Khel Maharan will be organised at Gram Panchayat to District level. The fund that will be used for this event have already been given to the organizers by the state government of Assam. ক্ৰীড়া মহাৰাণ will start from the 1st November and will continue up to 71 days in this month. According to the latest reports about 6 lakh candidates have registered for the Assam Khel Maharan. The chief minister assured it by himself that the event will be a good step for boosting the physical health of youth. The competition will be held in five disciplines:- Athletics, football, kabaddi and Kho-Kho from November 1st to January 10, he added. The chief minister Sarma said that ‘khel Maharan’ is a part of four similar programm of ‘ jan Bhagidari’ (people’s involvement). The other three programs are ‘Amrit Brikshya Andolan’ which was a plantation drive which has been successfully completed. The other is ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ and soon to be launched ‘Sanggaskritik Mahasangram’ on the field of culture. The Sarma told that the ‘khel Maharan’ will be from the village-level to state-level.
