Since 2017, India’s telecom department has been working on Central Equipment Identity Registration, and as a result, it has established a robust platform via which lost and stolen phones may be stopped and tracked directly. It is accomplished through the use of basic approaches more commonly known as the IMEI number, which is a unique identification number assigned to each handset sold in India for a long time. As a result, all of the people who have misplaced their phones or whose phones have been stolen will receive a nice treat through the register.
