Tamil Nadu CM Breakfast Scheme 2024
The Tamil Nadu State Government launched the first-ever breakfast program in the state, the Tamil Nadu CM Breakfast Scheme. A budget of Rs 33.56 crore has been set aside by the state government of Tamil Nadu for the phase from 2024 to 2025, which will see the Tamil Nadu government assisting a significant number of elementary school kids. The state government will provide breakfast in the school for 1.14 million kids in the first phase of this program, which will involve about 1545 government primary schools. Only primary school students will receive a healthy breakfast under this program.
The CM Breakfast Program for Tamil Nadu 2024 will be implemented up till it is extended to the entire state. This program will cover all of Tamil Nadu. In addition, every child participating in this program will receive 150–500 grams of breakfast food prepared with sambar and veggies. The government has also offered breakfast menus for 5 days of the week, from Monday to Friday. It has been noted that the school meal program will be improved during the present term of his party-led administration.
