Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana 2024
The Gruha Lakshmi Program for Women under the Dalit Bandhu Plan was introduced by the Telangana government. A one-time award of Rs 3 lakh would be given through the Gruha Lakshmi initiative to help build a house. Under the Gruha Lakshmi Program, the ladies in the family would receive Rs 3 lakh to build homes, with the funds being immediately transferred into their accounts throughout three phases. In the Griha Lakshmi program, Rs 12,000 crores would be used to build 4 lakh homes in the state of Telangana

Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana Objective
Gruha Lakshmi Scheme was launched by the Telangana government. Its main objective is to empower Dalit families and encourage business among them through a welfare program. For the implementation of this scheme, the government has set aside Rs. 1200 crores in funding.

Some of the key features and benefits of Griha Lakshmi Scheme Telangana are as follows:
- As part of the new program, the Telangana government will provide each participant a one-time gift of Rs 3 lakh so they can build the house of their dreams
- The State Budget has already set aside almost Rs 12,000 crore for this purpose.
- The State government would give Rs 3 lakh to a total of 4 lakh beneficiaries
- All 119 seats have received approval for the construction of about 3,000 homes apiece, in addition to additional 43,000 homes under the State quota
- Only women recipients will be approved for dwellings under the scheme, and each beneficiary will receive Rs 1 lakh paid into their bank account in three installments.
- The current double-bedroom homes and the land distribution would go on separately.
