YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme 2024
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme to strengthen the women of the state financially. Under this scheme, women will be provided loans at zero interest rates to start their businesses. Through this scheme, the beneficiaries will get a loan at 0 percent interest from the Andhra Pradesh government, as the state government will bear the interest amount on the loan. The beneficiaries include hardworking and qualified women from SHG and DWCRA organizations. Rs 1400 crore under the scheme for reimbursement of interest to more than 91 lakh women associated with self-help groups and DWCRA unions. About 8.78 lakh different self-help groups benefited from this scheme. Under this scheme, an interest-free loan i.e. bank loans at zero percent interest will be given to the selected list of beneficiaries.

The main objective of the YSR Zero Interest Loans Scheme is to make the women of the state financially self-reliant and empowered.
