Karnataka Uchita Prayana Scheme:- The Karnataka government always keeps on launching many schemes for the benefit of the people. This time the state government came up with a new scheme for the welfare of the women of the state. Karnataka Uchita Prayana Yojana will be providing free bus service to the women of the state. This bus service will be provided to the entire Karnataka state. This scheme is one of the promises of the Congress party. Now by taking this initiative, the party is fulfilling its promises.

Karnataka Uchita Prayana Scheme 2024
Under this scheme, the journey that will be completed within the boundary of Karnataka State will be free of cost. Now it is not a hard task for women to reach their destination. The women who will be traveling in the government buses do not need to pay for the ticket amount. A female must show her Aadhar Card to take advantage of the bus service. The Karnataka Government will soon issue the guidelines regarding the scheme.
10th June Update:- Karnataka Shakti Scheme to be implemented from 11th June
The Karnataka Government has announced to launch of the Shakti Scheme in the whole state. Women of the State can travel freely (free of cost) on the buses that are state Government of Karnataka. But there are some circumstances which might be followed like 50 % of the seats being reserved for the men and it is also necessary for an individual to be a part of Karnataka state. Road transport companies will be refunded Based on how far women in the state travel. Women can also use the Seva Sindhu portal to apply for the Shakti smart card within three months.
